Cooper Faassen

Scott Clark's Toyota and Wilburn Auto Body have been doing business together for years and it is through that business relationship and friendship that we came to know Cooper Faassen. Cooper is an outstanding young talent behind the wheel and and a great guy in person. His passion for racing in evident as soon as he starts talking about the track, the drivers, and his car. His character is evident from the first handshake.

Born and raised just outside of Charlotte, Cooper Faassen lives in Monroe, NC. He graduated from High School in 2009 in the middle of his first place winning season with the Nascar Whelen All-American HUTCHBSR Pro Late Model series. Cooper currently drives the number 11 car owned by TEC Racing in the Pro All Stars Series in the South Super Late Model Division.

Concord Speedway is where you can see Cooper race locally. His next race at Concord Speedway is scheduled for May 29th. Come out and support the hometown favorite. To learn more about Cooper Faassen Racing visit his website at www.cooperfaassen.com or come out for a day at the track! Here's to another exciting, winning season.

Cooper has a little surprise in his rear view mirror. Not too far behind he'll find Tyler Janocha. Tyler is 13. He is in the 7th grade at Porter Ridge Middle School. Tyler has 2 rears of Dirt Track racing under his belt and is stepping up to the Bandolero Outlaws Division. These cars top out at 80 MPH and weigh in at 750 lbs. Their 570cc Briggs and Stratton Vanguard engine is a V-twin that pumps out 30 hp. They race Friday nights at Concord Raceway.  This is family racing at it's finest.

If you ask Tyler, there is no question about what he want to do for a living. He wants to race cars. No question or hesitation in his voice. All of us a Scott Clark's wish you a happy and safe racing season, Tyler!
