The Four Top-Rated Scion VehiclesAlthough 2016 is the Scion’s last year in production, the brand still produces some of the best vehicles on the market. Whether you’re looking for fuel economy, performance, or versatility, this Japanese automaker delivers. Act fast before the last of the new Scions disappear forever. If you aren’t sure what they have to offer, check out some of these top-rated Scion vehicles.

1. FR-S

For the sports car enthusiast, you’re unlikely to find a more affordable high-performance vehicle than the FR-S. Under the hood, the FR-S sports a surprisingly efficient yet powerful 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine capable of delivering 200 horsepower and 151 pound-feet of torque. This enables you to get from zero-to-60 in a blistering 6.4 seconds while topping out at a whopping 136 miles per hour. Unlike other sports cars, this doesn’t make a huge dent in the fuel economy. The FR-S provides an impressive 30 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg in the city.

2. iA

The iA is one of the best buys on the market, not only for its impressive fuel efficiency, but also its impressive list of standard features. The perfect car for the indecisive, the iA comes in only one trim level, meaning you get things like a push-button start, rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, and a seven-inch touchscreen display without spending extra money. While the iA won’t win any drag races with a small 106-horsepower, 1.5-liter, four-cylinder, it does give you up to 41 mpg on the highway and 31 in the city.

3. iM

If you fancy a vehicle with stylish looks, superb features, and an attractive price, there’s no better choice than the Scion iM. This hatchback has exterior styling reminiscent of some of the more sporty hatchbacks on the market, although its 137-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder is more about efficiency than performance. With this engine, you get a remarkable 37 mpg highway and 28 mpg in the city, more than any other hatchback out there. Throw in a Pioneer six-speaker premium sound system, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment center, and a deceptively large 20.8 cubic feet of cargo space, and the iM is sure to please.

4. tC

As the other sporty coupe in the Scion lineup, the tC provides ample power mixed with a plethora of features. The 2.5 liter, four-cylinder engine boasts 179-horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque, enabling you to fly from zero-to-60 in just 6.9 seconds while pushing a speed up to 133 mph. In addition, the tC has great handling at just about any speed, regardless of whether you choose the manual or the automatic transmission. If you opt for the automatic, you get paddle shifters, a welcome addition that gives the car a much more sporty feel. Inside, there’s a seven-inch touchscreen, a spacious cabin, and a panoramic moonroof.

Regardless of which Scion you choose, you’ll find that each has its own inherent charm and styling. However, the best part is that you can’t possibly go wrong.
