At one time the thought of in-car DVR would have been ludicrous, but as technology gets smaller and cheaper it can be a very useful accessory for those who take long trips. Your NC Toyota Dealership looks at why we should use in-car DVD.

Keeping the Kids Happy

One of the biggest uses of in car DVD players is to keep the children happy and entertained. Many cars now have these players fitted into the head rests of the front seats so you can pop on a cartoon or movie and let the DVD take the strain of the miles.

How many times have you heard, “Are we there yet?” Or “I’m bored?” Not any more, children can watch the same cartoon many times and still be totally enthralled, imagine your next long trip with an in-car DVD fitted.

My Car doesn’t have them Fitted

No problem, you can still buy portable units that can be attached in much the same way. They are very affordable and the cost is coming down all the time. They are easy to use and portable so can be used outside the car when you take a break or reach your destination.

Can I use them when Driving?

No they are not intended for the driver to use, but they are ideal if you are taking a long trip with multiple drivers. When one driver takes over the other can switch off and relax watching their favorite program.

We believe these are indispensable for long journeys especially where small children will be traveling.
