Conventional vs Synthetic Oil
Conventional or Synthetic?
The type of oil change your car needs depends on the type of vehicle, the car's working conditions, and the climate of where you live.
Conventional
Traditionally inexpensive, used for most standard vehicles, and good for year-round, mild climates. Newer makes and models can get by with conventional oil changes once every 3-4,000 miles.
Synthetic
Synthetic oil changes deliver the greatest benefits for most vehicles. They last longer, can help with your engine’s life, and can eventually provide a greater return despite the initial cost. Synthetic oil has excellent benefits, such as being not susceptible to freezing, not breaking down on higher temperatures, and lasting longer between oil changes.
